Mission Statement

Scoil N, Mhuire

Cloneygowan.

Tullamore.

Revised and ratified by the BOM  - Nov  2024

Scoil N. Mhuire, Cloneygowan is a co –educational, Catholic primary school owned and managed by Killeigh Parish, under the patronage of the Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin. We strive to provide a well –ordered, caring, happy and secure environment where the intellectual, spiritual, physical, moral and cultural needs of the pupils are identified and addressed ensuring that everyone can thrive both personally and academically

While Scoil N. Mhuire is a school with a Catholic ethos, religious education, Prayer and Worship form an essential part of the schools’ curriculum, it also has due recognition for all beliefs.

Scoil N. Mhuire will strive to promote, both individually and collectively, the professional and personal development of teachers through staff development programmes.

Scoil N. Mhuire will encourage the involvement of parents, through home/school contacts and through their involvement in Scoil N. Mhuire Parents’ Association.

Scoil N. Mhuire will endeavour to enhance the self –esteem of everyone in the school community, to imbue in the pupils respect for people and property and to encourage in them the idea of being responsible.

Scoil N. Mhuire will promote gender equity among the teachers and pupils.

Déanfaimid iarracht an Ghaeilge a chur chun cinn agus a labhairt go neamhfhoirmiúil.
