Today, we were very lucky and had a visit from 4 of Portarlington’s fire fighters!
They taught us the two emergency numbers to call (999 and 112), how to test our smoke alarm at home and what to do if our clothes ever catch fire- Stop, Drop and Roll!
We also got to try on the fire kit and learned how the fire fighters search for casualties inside burning buildings.
It was a very interesting visit!
